Is a LoL Script Safe Against Vanguard? What the Ban Risk Looks Like in 2026
Is a LoL script safe against Vanguard? There is no guarantee, so this post covers where bans come from, how providers differ and which habits keep the risk low.

Short version first, since that's what you came for: a LoL script is not safe against Vanguard in any guaranteed sense. Accounts get banned, and nobody selling scripts can promise yours won't be one of them. What you can do is shrink the odds a lot, and most of that is in your hands: the loader you pick, the account you put at risk, and how you actually play.
The ticket I see most often after a ban wave goes something like this. Someone has been playing Kai'Sa on a scripted smurf for five weeks with no warning at all, then a wave goes out and the account is gone, taking games from more than a month back with it. Nothing about the loader changed. That delay is the part of Vanguard people underestimate, and it's why "it's been fine so far" tells you very little.
What Vanguard is doing on your machine
Vanguard is Riot's in-house kernel-level anti-cheat. It spent years in Valorant before coming to League in 2024, and it runs at Ring 0, the deepest layer of Windows, instead of sitting alongside your other programs. In practice:
It starts when your PC boots, so it's running whether or not you open League.
It can see drivers, loaded modules and running processes across the system.
Basic user-mode cheats, the classic inject-and-go tools, are in plain view.
Suspicious unsigned drivers get blocked, and the game won't run without TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.
The first casualty was the older generation of injection-based scripts. With Vanguard active, most of them get flagged within 24 hours. If you've got an old tool from before 2024 sitting in a downloads folder, treat it as a quick way to lose an account. We cover the background in more depth in how Vanguard bypass works in 2026; this post stays on the buyer's side of things.
Where bans actually come from
Riot's end
Vanguard keeps moving. Any patch can bring new signatures, new behavior checks and new kernel-side detection, so a method that's clean this week can be flagged next week.
Bans also rarely land the moment you're spotted. Riot tends to collect data for weeks and then ban in batches. Since the League rollout we've seen a wave roughly every 3-6 weeks, and a wave can reach back to accounts played 30-90 days earlier. That's the five-week Kai'Sa story above, more or less exactly.
Your end
Going by our support queue, this is the bigger one. Launching the loader in the wrong order. Logging a fresh account in on hardware that already carries a ban, with no spoofer running. A Silver Lux landing every single binding at max range for twenty minutes straight. The script can be working perfectly and these will still get you flagged, because they're about behavior. A game with four reports sends the account to manual review, and at that point nobody has to detect anything technical.
How providers keep working under Vanguard
You don't need the internals, but you should know which approach you're paying for, because each one carries a different kind of risk. Scripts still running in 2026 mostly fall into one of three groups.
External tools run outside the League process. The detection surface is smaller, which is why this is the most common setup. The trade-off is that features like auto-combo and prediction can respond a little slower.
DMA setups hand the reading off to separate hardware, either a DMA card or a second PC. The extra hardware makes this the priciest option, and some serious ranked players go this route. It keeps the work away from what Vanguard can easily observe on your machine, and it is still not a guarantee.
Kernel-level loaders operate on the same layer as Vanguard. When they're well maintained they're strong. Once one gets added to the signature list, though, everyone running it burns at the same time, which is why this kind of loader needs weekly and sometimes daily updates. I wouldn't touch a kernel loader with a patchy update history.
Ask a seller which of these they use. If they can't tell you, odds are they're reselling someone else's loader and won't have answers for you on patch day either.
Habits that keep an account alive
Never test on your main. Give any new loader or config 1-2 days on a smurf. If your main goes, no refund policy brings it back.
Always run the spoofer. Vanguard records your PC's hardware fingerprint, and once one account is banned, new accounts on that fingerprint follow. Our HWID spoofer guide explains why it's non-negotiable.
Sit out patch day. Detection runs hot for the first 24-48 hours of a new patch. Wait until the loader posts a "safe" status.
Update as soon as a new build is out. If there's a maintenance notice, don't play. Old builds are the first thing caught in every wave.
Keep your settings believable. Silent aim with max snap and smoothing switched off gets you mass-reported inside three games. Read up on soft vs silent aim settings before you start moving sliders.
Break up long sessions. Eight-plus hours in one sitting starts to look odd in behavior data. Get up, eat something.
Keep your account name out of Discord. Rival groups report-bomb names they see, and manual review can ban an account even when nothing technical was caught.
When I go back through ban tickets from the last 12 months, most of them trace to one of these seven. Script-side bans do happen, just a lot less often than people assume.
What we do on the BulkScript side
Patch tracking. When a patch updates Vanguard, a compatible build usually ships within 24-72 hours. Maintenance gets announced in Discord, and the process is laid out on our how it works page.
Spoofer included. The HWID spoofer is sold on its own too, but the LoL package comes with it. Selling a LoL script without one would be setting customers up to lose accounts.
Refund terms in writing. A technical fault on the loader side falls under our refund policy. Cranking aim to the max and collecting 20 reports doesn't, and we say that before you pay.
Prices on the page. The 1-day, 7-day, 30-day and lifetime tiers are all listed on the League of Legends page. No "message us for a quote".
If you're unsure which length suits how often you play, the 1 day vs 7 day vs 30 day breakdown works through it.
Coming over from PUBG, Apex or Rust
Vanguard only runs in League and Valorant. BattlEye, EAC and FairFight each have their quirks, but none of them is as aggressive. People who've cheated in PUBG, Apex Legends or Rust tend to bring their habits along, and those habits get accounts banned fast here. When I'd tell you not to buy
You have one account and it matters to you: rare skins, an old name, years of match history. If losing it isn't acceptable, skip this entirely.
You play pro or semi-pro tournaments. There's extra anti-cheat on top, and getting caught can cost you a lot more than an account.
You only want to try it once. A 1-day pack isn't worth the Vanguard risk in my view. If you're going in, a 7-day at least leaves room for setup, a smurf and some testing.
You mainly want to troll. Trolls pull reports on their own, so that account is going regardless.
FAQ
Can Vanguard detect a LoL script?
Yes. It runs in the kernel, so in principle very little is out of its reach. External and DMA approaches narrow what it can see, and a loader that's kept up to date can stay clean for months in practice. Maintenance is what makes the difference.
How often do ban waves hit?
About every 3-6 weeks since the Vanguard rollout, sometimes reaching back 30-90 days. A quiet day today says nothing about two months from now, so keep the risk on a smurf.
Do I really need an HWID spoofer?
You can technically play without one. I wouldn't. After a ban, Vanguard remembers your hardware fingerprint, and new accounts from that PC usually get flagged within 1-3 days. The spoofer breaks that link.
How long does setup take?
Getting Secure Boot, TPM and Vanguard lined up on Windows 11 trips up a lot of first-timers. Following the Windows 11 installation guide, most people are done in 15-20 minutes.
Do I get a refund if I'm banned?
If a technical fault on the loader caused it, the refund policy applies. A ban after maxing the aimbot and eating 40 reports isn't covered, and we'd rather you know that now.
How do you compare to Hanbot?
Hanbot and services like it have real strengths. We compared pricing transparency, Turkish-language support, the bundled spoofer and refund terms point by point in Hanbot alternatives 2026, so you can judge for yourself.
The risk never reaches zero, whoever you buy from. What a maintained loader, a bundled spoofer and restrained play get you is an account that's far less likely to be in the next wave. If that trade works for you, current prices and build status are on the League of Legends product page. If you've got questions first, read the how it works page and then ask us in Discord.
